Actually from the gear heads I've talked to the original Hummer is far superior, something about the suspension. And the new hummers are just built off the exact same chassis as the GM Colorado and cost a bunch more.
This is besides the point, hummer=asshole has nothing to do with fuel efficiency or performance. Like Moore's law it was developed from the simple observation that if you drive a hummer your probably an asshole.

I also noted that lack of decent grammar and using all caps tell us that your like John McCain- barely literate with computer tech at this stage in the game. Scary to think your behind the wheel of 4000+ lbs. I will definately pass with caution on my bike when your stuck in traffic and I'm passing between the cars....

Thu, February 12, 2009 - 11:35 AMI saw an H1 in the line at the inspection station the other day. Hilarious. I wish I got a picture. It looked like it was armored, for extra weight and ineffeciency I guess. Anyway it had a ridiculous Mural of an Eagle grabbing an elongated American flag running down the entire side of that ugly thing. I wanted to say "Oh, you love America I see.......Stop ruining it". But OBVIOUSLY he was a typical "Alpha" male type who would have immediately resorted to violence, knowing no other path. Instead I settled for "What are you fighting terrorists in that thing?" He laughed and said yes. Moron.
