for all those individuals who are running around in a hummer, I'm just wondering- have you paid over $100 to fill your tank yet?
How does that feel? Knowing that if you use your beast as a commuter that you are now paying a fraction of the actually true cost of your vehicles impact on the environment........

Thu, July 10, 2008 - 8:13 AMMost Hummers are diesel. My H1 had two tanks - main and aux - that held 41gal total. With diesel at 5$ a gal, it would cost me $205 to fill it up today. The thing is, if you can afford the sticker price and the maintenance on a Hummer, dropping $200 on fuel is no big deal. It's just another sushi dinner.
It costs about $100 to fill most cars these days. -
