I saw my first first HUMMER H-3 yesterday and I must say the "lunacy legend of Hummer" continues into the model I viewed at our local HUMMER Dealership on a LOT BRAND NEW.
"It" had 4 doors and a "Pickup trucklike" Ass end,it looked like a Gussied Up Chevrolet of the same type with "Hummer" Doors and front grille on it,wich is "Most likely" what it Is,since General Motors make BOTH pieces of shit.
The paint on it was reminiscent of Chevy's gone By. All mottled with "Orange Peel"
The grille didn't line up with the front corner fender panels
The rubber seals around the four doors was "exposed" to the elements
The fog lamps were installed crooked
and the interior looked Cheap and REEKED of low-grade Plastic and cheap "fake Mahogany",only the immediate "seating surfaces" of the seats were made of "real Leather" and poorly color matched to the cheap vinyl on the "rest of" the cheap plastic upholstery.
The "estimated MPG" EPA an astounding economical 18 City-22 Highway.
The window sticker said: 37'500:00 The beaming well-dressed salesman was expounding on how if I acted TODAY I could get it for LESS!

Re: The Ludicracy called "HUMMER" H-3....Continues....
Wed, September 13, 2006 - 10:13 PMI told the salesman I wouldn't be caught DEAD in that cheap rip off of a Chevy and that the "Quality" for MY 37'500:00 left MUCH to be desired,I told him I'd buy a LEXUS SC-300 SUV and BUY Quality, before I'd spend one dime on the cheap pile of junk he was trying to sell me! -

Yeah, for the same price I guess that extra one mile per gallon on the highway was really making your point loud and clear. -

Re: ludicrousness
Thu, September 14, 2006 - 9:19 PMANY "Lexus" Brand Vehicle is SUPERIOR in every aspect to ANYTHING manufactured by General Motors
All one needs to do is look up the last TWENTY years of "Service Records" and "Quality Control" on the Consumer Reports website, also look at JD Power and Associates, another WELL KNOWN authority on reporting on the quality of todays vehicles.
I never said a Lexus SC 300 gets ANY "better MPG" than the Hummer H-3,I was making the point that if I had 37'500:00 to buy a NEW luxury SUV with,I'd choose the PROVEN quality and dependability of a Lexus over the shoddy quality that is "HUMMER".
